P.S. Humboldt Botanical Gardens, located off Tomkins Hill from Highway 101 is absolutely gorgeous! I almost forgot to mention! You must walk up the trails to the top of the mountain to the Peter Santino's "All Happy Now" earth Sculpture, it is a 100 foot -diameter, earth and grass ziggurate comprising two slowly rising and expanding spiral ramps. A true Labyrinth only one just like it in Europe was mentioned to me by someone anonymously, can not verify this...but it is beautiful. Once there, the view of the Humboldt County Forest and Mountains is just gorgeous too.

I have had more fun with my garden blooming flowers this year and sharing.

I have enjoyed working in my garden. Third year for this little duplex garden. Each year it takes on its more mature look.  Each season is a new garden delight.  I especially enjoy the white flowers of the evening because they shine like stars under the bright night sky.

I am enjoying second year begonia's. I brought them home from Trinidad's flower festival a year ago. Planted them and they grew and bloomed beautifully.  This year to my surprise, they returned to give me many bright full blooms and blossoms.  I have worn them in my hair, shared them, and I just love them.

I planted some new edibles by seed not long ago, only a couple of weeks. They are sprouting up. I enjoy watching them grow and become what God helps to create with love, water and sun.

I enjoy my garden clubs.

I belong to Sequoia Eureka Garden Club. My position is beautification committee. Last year our garden club dressed the Gazebo in Old Town Eureka for Eureka Main Street with potted Petunia's.  They are back this year and our garden club added a few more planted hanging pots to Eureka Main Street businesses in Old Town Eureka.   They are so beautiful and colorful.

Eureka garden club also enjoyed participation in helping to plant flowers, at the Sequoia Eureka Zoo's Gazebo Garden.  I helped with this project one day.

After touring gardens of landscapes for five selected Eureka Churches last meeting the third Friday of  August, we enjoyed a stop at the Sequoia Eureka Zoo Gazebo Garden for a bag lunch and special recognition to dedicated volunteers this past year in our Eureka Sequoia Garden Club.

Honored were my friend Sue Moran, former last years Eureka Sequoia Garden Club President,  continues to support this Gazebo garden with her two  grandchildren, and were presented with awards for their dedication and contributions from our Sequoia Eureka Garden Club President, Mary Lou Goodwin.  Mary Lou Goodwin, President also presented our special guests attended and presented awards too, from City of Eureka; Tom Coyle who over sees all parks in City of Eureka and Kurk Hufft, who over sees Sequoia Zoo Parks.

Eureka Chapter Rhododendron Society is another garden club I am member and enjoy so very much.

Humboldt Botanical Gardens I will soon be a paid member, as I enjoy many events there with my garden friends and the Botanical gardens and Labyrinth are just beautiful.

These gardens change with each season too, but it is so amazing how each season showcases its beauty in texture, color, and shapes.

Touring beautiful gardens of home owners, nurseries, and wild habitats are so fun, along with the friendships I make with other garden professionals in their business, local farmers market growers, and homeowners that appreciate beautiful gardens, gorgeous landscapes, flowers, trees that bloom, trees and shrubs, and grasses with foliage of color year round, healthy edibles.

The presenters are so knowledgeable, and I have really learned a lot of information and there is always someone to go to for mentoring in time of need, or referral.

Our meetings are fun with door prizes, presenters of interesting topics, good food and beverage, and most of all friendship with people who love beautiful real estate.
